Wardens from across the Great Seal have verified reports that thousands of individuals have fled into the Great Seal during the Cataclysm. These refugees have come from both the  Empire and the Dragonlord lands and have entered the Seal of their own volition.   

Conditions in their native lands are said to be incredibly dire.  Lands bordering the Great Seal were devastated by the Cataclysm. Crop lands were rendered bare by tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and blizzards that raged across the land last month, leading to widespread starvation. Those who were able to walk took all they could carry and fled through the Barrier, further compounding an already dire humanitarian crisis within the Great Seal following the recent conflict. 

The Wardens are doing all they are able, including distributing fruits from the Great Tree and providing medical assistance to as many refugees as possible.  While the Great Tree has turned a corner towards recovery from the corruption of the Wickermen, there still is not enough food to go around.  The threat of starvation lingers around the encampments of many of new denizens of the Seal.  Even where food is available, providing security during transportation has been very difficult. Bandits steal whatever they can and many would be deliveries are delayed by lack of able bodies, due to injuries sustained during the Battle of the Great Tree.
