Here are some links where you can buy gear.  This is not a comprehensive list, but it will help you get an idea of what is out there.   It is also acceptable to make your own, if you are so inclined.  Rules for weapons and armor can be found in the rulebook.  New weapons are to be inspected by a Safety Marshal before use.

We recommend you start with minimum basic equipment and build slowly over time, rather than spending a ton of money to gear up from the start.  You need some play experience to really know what gear will best suit your play style.  Don’t buy more than you need to when you are just getting started.  No one will look down on you for a minimal costume or gear when you are new!
