This area is largely controlled by Dragonlords with yellow scales and an affinity for Yellow Dragons.  The land in yellow Dragonlord territory is mostly high mountains in the north and decends toward the central valley becoming nearly flat plains where it joins the central valley where the dragons reside.

Yellow dragons, known as the Gaomi, are the gentlest of dragons.  They are known to have the strongest scales of all dragons and were once hunted for them, as the scales were used in early armor making.  They were driven to the brink of extinction before the dragons and Dragonlords learned the value of working together.

Dragonlords who favor the Gaomi belong to the Aya clan and are members of the Chan family.  Their most cherished tenant is Courtesy.
