This area is largely controlled by Dragonlords with red scales and an affinity for Red Dragons.  The lands are one of stark contrasts with deeply eroded canyons and dramatic rock formations such as sharp spires and colorful layered buttes.

Red dragons are known as Awan.  They are fearless creatures who tend to respond most favorably to displays of strength.  They favor aggressive tactics and decisive action.

Dragonlords with red scales are part of the Aya clan and belong to the Lao family.  The most cherished of the Seven Tenants for the Lao is Courage.
