This area was largely destroyed during the Revenant Wars and again bombarded with terrible Magitech during the Ethereal Wars, leaving the land almost completely devoid of magic and of life. The lands are a faded shade gray revealing only rock and dust as far as the eye can see. The air has an eerie stillness and a constant cloud of fine grey ash would quickly choke living creatures who did not have a way to filter the air to make it breathable.  This makes the land disturbingly quiet and still.  

It is rumored that the remaining residents of Letalis Barrow still inhabit this region.  Stories say these few are what remains of the free Revenants who were not relocated forcibly into the Great Seal or  held as Imperial property in the Undying Legion under the Imperial palace in Dominus.  Only a fool would dare venture into the wastelands to find out for sure.
