The Province of Bassira is by far the coldest of all lands found in Karn. The land varies from steep mountains with deep fjords to treeless tundra near coastal waters that provide abundant cold water fishing in the warmer months.

Building resources are scarce and the people have become quite good at mathematics and engineering to make the most of what little there is to be had.  Bassirans on the whole are sturdy efficient and patient people who appreciate those who make the most of what they have.
