After our conversation I scoured over what text and research I had at my disposal and I believe I have come up with a plan for the creation of the device we discussed, a device that will suspend the power of the gods and allow the Forsaken to potentially be killed. There are still many unknows, however, and it will require the knowledge of other sages specialized in their fields.
This device, which I have tentatively dubbed the Celestial Nullifier, will likely be the most complicated and powerful magical object ever crafted by mortal hands. Just the undertaking of researching and building it will be a quest of legendary scale, to say nothing of using it to defeat the Forsaken. I strongly suggest you begin to seek out alliances with those that have the power to help you in this endeavor.
Before I begin to lay out the resources and steps necessary to construct the Celestial Nullifier, I must acknowledge my own limitations. This device will require the assistance of Grand Masters of Smithing, Alchemy, Spell Forger, and Fate Scribe to aid in the design and creation process.
It will likely take many months to accomplish all the tasks necessary to even begin the crafting process. Below is a list of exotic magic materials that will be required to craft the device. To say that these are rare and expensive is an understatement. Each one will almost certainly be difficult to acquire, and all are essential.
Acquire Magical Materials
- Orichalcum- will be needed to conduct the power of the Sun.
- Adamant- “the hardest known substance”, needed to provide necessary durability for structure.
- Hihi’Irokane- “crimson ore’ will be needed to conduct Fire Element..
- Electrum- to conduct the energies internally.
- Aetherium- to condense and conduct Air element.
- Alkahest- “universal solvent”, necessary for an Alchemist to combine all other materials.
- Chintamani- “wish fulfilling jewel”, will be necessary to act as the nullifying element.
- Ichor- will be needed to conduct Water Element,
- Ligurium- the amber colored “power of attraction” must bind all the materials together.
- Prima Materia- will be needed to conduct the power of the Abyss.
- Anima Mundi- will be needed to conduct the power of the Moon.
- Xirang – “Breathing Earth”, will be needed to condense and conduct Earth Element.
- Yliastum- “Prime Mater” will be necessary as a substrate to anchor the other materials to.
In addition, there are a number of tasks that must accomplish before the Celestial Nullifier can be crafted.
- Smiths must research and build Geomantic Forge, as well as a container for the Alkahest.
- Alchemists must research and create a blueprint to formulate Alkahest.
- Spell Forgers must research and build special Gems that will regulate and control the Geomantic Forge
- A sufficient Geomantic Nexus of power must be located.
- Fate Scribes must research special Scroll for concentrating the vast Geomantic power we wish to harness.
- Faith leaders must design a ritual to purify the Geomantic Nexus.
- Ritual mages must research and design a ritual circle that will contain the power of the Geomantic Nexus.
Once all of the materials and research are completed, we must attempt the daunting task of actually crafting the device, a complicated and extremely dangerous endeavor all on its own. We will need to consult with Grandmasters in their crafts, and work on forging alliances that will aid you in your tasks. I would consult with Wardens as they seem to have a complex intelligence network, and perhaps make use of the Leaf Chronicle as a means of getting the word out for the materials you are searching for.
